Role Overview
As the Vice Principal of BeCurious Preschool, you’ll be the heart of our school’s daily rhythm — supporting both our teachers and students to shine their brightest. Working closely with the Principal, you’ll help guide our educational programs, ensure smooth day-to-day operations, and foster a culture of care, creativity, and continuous growth.
You’ll be both a leader and a listener — someone who inspires teachers, supports families, and ensures that every child’s BeCurious experience is filled with joy, learning, and love.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Principal in overseeing the daily operations of the preschool, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
Supervise, mentor, and motivate teaching and support staff, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
Assist in curriculum planning, implementation, and evaluation to maintain high educational standards.
Build positive, trusting relationships with parents, providing reassurance, empathy, and open communication.
Oversee classroom management, staff scheduling, and resource organization.
Lead by example in promoting BeCurious Preschool’s values of kindness, curiosity, creativity, and respect.
Support and model effective behavior management techniques in alignment with the school’s philosophy.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
Organize school events, staff meetings, and parent communication in a warm and professional manner.
Step in for the Principal when needed, maintaining consistency and positivity across all operations.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Strong understanding of early childhood development and best teaching practices.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
A nurturing, empathetic personality with a positive and encouraging attitude.
Ability to foster teamwork, trust, and a joyful work environment.
Passion for creating meaningful learning experiences for young children.
